I was very pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. For one, the landscaping is really great for the budget hotel, and there’s an abundance of really pretty plants!! The outdoor spaces are well tended and well loved, and that makes me happy. It’s beautiful. I love when people go above and beyond to create beauty! The room was clean, I appreciated the art in our room, and all of the staff were really awesome. There is a nice park a 5 minute walk away too which I enjoyed.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel! We booked something cheap in the area we needed for the one night and expected a dingy motel at best but that is not at all what we got! The grounds are well kept, especially considering we are barely past the hurricane. The room was large and clean, the furniture and fixtures relatively updated, and the bathroom area had a sink/vanity section outside of the bathroom so two people can get ready at once. On top of that, there was a nice patio to sit on, a dining table and chairs, and a fridge and microwave all in the room. Breakfast came in the form of a sac lunch situation and again was a pleasant surprise! It included a water, a juice, an Otis spunkmeyer muffin, a fresh apple, a yoplait yogurt, Doritos, and a chocolate hazelnut waver roll. Way more food than I could eat but a great value and much better than the free breakfast I was anticipating. Service was also great! We just stayed in a nearby La Quinta earlier in the week for the same price per night and same room size but that place was gross - we’ll definitely be staying here again, especially if we need to evacuate for another hurricane!
